About the Artwork
"Very Very Big Pizza" is a masterfully layered contemporary scene that uses a warm, cinematic narrative to explore the infinite nature of human desire. Set against a detailed, nocturnal café backdrop, the composition links a young child, an expectant waitress, and the luminous full moon above through a precise triangular rhythm of glances and gestures. As the child dramatically stretches her arms to order a pizza "bigger than the moon," the pizza itself remains invisible, leaving its impossible dimensions entirely to the imagination. What begins as a humorous, playful moment beneath the night sky opens into a profound reflection on humanity’s endless appetite for more. In line with the "Living Artwork" philosophy, this narrative is enriched by an original, custom-composed soundscape that deepens the warm, nostalgic atmosphere of the scene, transforming an innocent wish into a timeless allegory of human dreaming.
